God voided the covenant
The ancient Israelite covenant has been voided permanently in the area called Palestine for the last two thousand years. In the Book of Deuteronomy, Chapters 28 -- 32 God explicitly tells Moses that the ancient Israelites will transgress the land covenant with God and God will void the covenant permanently and cast them out. Especially see Dt. 31:16,17
"And the Lord said to Moses: Behold thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, and this people rising up will go a fornicating after strange gods in the land, to which they goeth in to dwell: there will they forsake me, and will void the covenant, which I have made with them,
And my wrath shall be kindled against them in that day: and I will forsake them, and will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured: all evils and afflictions shall find them, so that they shall say in that day: In truth it is because God is not with me, that these evils have found me."
This came to pass forevermore exactly as Our Lord Jesus Christ said 1500 years later when He prophesied the utter destruction of the Temple. That destruction occurred in 70 A.D. God also gave the descendants of Ishmael the land since God was done with land covenants (except for the unconditional blessing upon Ishmael and his descendants) with the Incarnation, Death and Burial and Resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ. For, as the Church Fathers taught, the land covenant was a type of the Resurrection of Christ, and the resurrection of all men by virtue of the Cross of Christ – His Kenosis.
See:
Gn:21:17:
17 And God heard the voice of the boy: and an angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, saying: What art thou doing, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the boy, from the place wherein he is.
18 Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation."
MOST ESPECIALLY, Christians around the world must heed Our Lord's command in St. Matthew's Gospel 25th Chapter to help His brethren, for that of course means those in need, Christian and Muslim. See v.41-46
...
"41 Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink.
43 I,was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you covered me not: sick and in prison, and you did not visit me.
44 Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee?
45 Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.
46 And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting."
